A note from Mickie...

Over the last 20 years of exercising at home I've slowly cracked the code on how to hit every fitness goal I've ever set for myself (without stepping foot in a gym). 

I signed up for my first Tough Mudder in 2015--13 miles and 25+ obstacles in the Kentucky heat. I created a detailed 12-week training plan that combined a running schedule with a home workout routine using Beachbody and Cathe Friedrich programs. I've never been more proud of myself than when I crossed that finish line.

I went on to sign up for another Tough Mudder, a shorter obstacle event in Nashville (with a LOT of hills!) and a Spartan Sprint. And in Feb. 2022, I'll be running in my 3rd Tough Mudder (although I've opted for the shorter 6 mile distance this time).

Over the years, I've tweaked and polished my training plan into something that's simple and works. And I'm honored to share it with you!
